Our 12-Hour Dental Radiology Certification Course is designed specifically for on-the-job trained dental assistants and out-of-state dental professionals who need to meet Georgia’s state radiology requirements.
This focused training combines convenient online learning with hands-on, in-person instruction to ensure every student masters safe and effective dental radiography techniques.
Program Structure
Total Course Duration: 12 hours

6 Hours Online — Self-paced lecture modules and final online assessment

6 Hours On-Site — Hands-on training
Upon successful completion, students will earn the State of Georgia Dental Radiology Certificate.
Academic and Attendance Requirements
Students must complete:

All 6 hours of online coursework and the final written test

The 6-hour in-person training session in full
Both components are required to qualify for certification. Attendance at the on-site session is mandatory — no exceptions.
Readmission Policy
If a student cannot complete the course due to a valid personal or medical reason, they may be readmitted to the next available session at no additional cost, pending administrative approval.
